Articulation, in its essence, is the act of expressing thoughts, emotions, or concepts with clarity and precision. In this collection, artists navigate the intricate landscape of communication, utilizing diverse techniques and forms to articulate their perspectives.

The artworks on display encapsulate the multifaceted nature of this year’s theme. Twenty-six artists are represented in this exhibition, with six jury-selected Best-in-Show awards given to outstanding creative work that exemplify the high standards of original, well executed, technically proficient, engaging art.

Tips for Submitting Work

-Make sure you have a high-quality well lit photograph of your work (these images will be used in our online viewing room if selected)
-Try to photograph against a neutral background with good lighting.
-Remember to title your piece.
-Include dimensions and size height x width x depth
-If your work is on paper or 2D, how it will hang on the gallery wall? (consider framing it or if it is canvas please add wire or d-rings)
-If your work is sculpture or 3D, how will it be displayed in the gallery? (consider if it needs a pedestal or platform
– If your work is digital, how will you display it in the gallery? (If it is illustration or graphic design, please print it and consider framing it or how you plan to hang it on the gallery wall)
-If your work is film/video/sound/projection, how will it best be experienced in the gallery? (If it will be on an ipad/tablet/or screen, please format it for the right platform, also consider if it will need headphones? Is it best viewed directly via a connected zip drive? or via vimeo? or YouTube?
-If your work is a film script, or creative writing, consider printing out a large version of selected text to frame and display on the gallery wall, or perhaps record a selected narration to play on an iPad/tablet/or screen
-Do not submit more than three finished projects.
-A triptych is considered one piece, submit all three pieces as one image.
-December Graduates are encouraged to apply but still must be able to deliver and pick up work if selected.
