Possibilities: Reimagining On Lake Champlain Through Many Mediums

Possibilities: Reimagining On Lake Champlain Through Many Mediums is a showecase of art by Champlain College students, faculty, and staff in response to a call to artists project proposal written by student Ellie Newman.

Inspired by an assignment for CRE-400: Professional Practices II,  Newman proposed to invited creatives across Champlain College to submit a work of art in response to an artifact sourced from our Special Collections.

The artifact chosen is a piece of sheet music titled On Lake Champlain, with lyrics by Alfred Bryan and music by Albert Gumble, published by Jerome H. Remick & Co. in 1916.

Ellie Newman is our co-curator for this exhibit as well as a double major in Applied Mathematics and Creative Media, graduating in Spring 2025.
